Our Fleet

We operate a modern fleet consisting of eight (8) Cessna Caravan C208's, one (1) Cessna 182, three (3) Britten Norman Twin-engine Islanders, one (1) Australian G7 Airvan and now three (3) ATR 72's.


We are proud to provide the most versatile, modern and comfortable variety of aircraft in the region. All of Maya Island Air aircrafts have been specially configured for the unique operations in this area. Particular attention has been focused upon passenger comfort.


Reducing the cabin noise levels, increasing cabin ventilation performance, interior modifications which offer more seating comfort and a spacious atmosphere are some of the passenger comfort goals met by our new fleet. The enhanced comfort levels, the addition of these new aircrafts advances our reliability and navigation systems to the most modern standards in use today. ATR 72

The ATR 72 is a twin-turboprop short-haul regional airliner built by the French-Italian aircraft manufacturer ATR. It seats up to 68 passengers in a single-class configuration and is operated by a two-pilot crew.

A 12 passenger Turbine (Jet-prop) powered aircraft. Powerful and fast, the Cessna Caravan is the second largest of our aircraft. Large group movements and special charter flights are no problem for this modern high technology aircraft. The comfort of the spacious cabin and quite power of the Pratt and Whitney turbine engine provide a peaceful flying experience.

A twin engine 9 passenger aircraft. New noise reducing four bladed propellers, forced ventilation systems and modern cabin trim components make these Maya Island Air aircraft the most comfortable Britten-Norman BN2 Islander aircraft found anywhere. With legendary Islander short take off and landing capability and twin engine redundancy this is the perfect aircraft for required twin engine Executive Charters to the most remote of locations in the region.

A 7 passenger aircraft designed for the 21st century. Economic charters without any compromise in comfort. The Airvan actually has more head and leg room than any of our aircraft! Maintained by Professionals

Maya Island Air aircraft are maintained by factory trained personnel certified by a variety of governing bodies; United States Federal Aviation Administration, Belize Civil Aviation Department and the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority. Maintenance facility standards and aircraft maintenance operating procedures are to Joint Aviation Authority (European Union) JAR 145 requirements. These are the most modern maintenance standards in the world today.
